    I guess the Router need also few basic commands before jumping to the line you specify for it? like, what tool is used, feeds, speeds, and so on. assume I had a crash during work and I want to run it from line 180,000 or so..

    Yeah u seem to have a good grasp. Good idea to not forget to add an m3 for spindle on as well as rewrite rpm. I usually start from the nearest rapid move and sometimes add a z rapid so that the tool starts closer to the table.Be very careful if you are using incremental coordinates.

    I open the program in text editor, go to the line it was aborted on then search up the document for the last rapid move before the aborted linethen I delete everything inbetween the header and G0. I’ll usually add a G0 and an X/Y positioning move and then save it with a new file name.
