CNC Lathes are commonly used in industries such as oil & gas, automotive, aerospace, medical, electronics, mining, power plant, steel & paper mills, and ship building, just to name a few. In the oil and gas industry, the application of CNC lathe is robust, regardless of the method used for the machining of the final component.

A CNC lathe machine can produce a range of products, from larger items such as automobile frames and airplane engines to smaller items, such as surgical instruments, gears and garden tools, also can be used to manufacture parts covering flat surfaces, threads, and cylindrical components that have inner and outer diameters.

This fashion of lathe is commonly used beneath CNC manipulate. Most CNC Swiss-style lathes these days use one or most important spindles plus one or two again spindles (secondary spindles). The fundamental spindle is used with the manual bushing for the principle machining operations.
